Registering for an API key

To use The Echo Nest API, you'll need to get an API key. You'll need to use this API key in every API call. We use the key to enforce rate limits and compliance with our terms of service. To get an API key, create an Echo Nest developer account. Once you've completed the process (which takes about a minute), you'll receive an API key that you can use to make API calls.
