I would like to have all chords beyond just major minor (dim 6th 9th sus etc) even if it was a little buggy and mixed up the timbre for voicing I would be ecstatic... im a little bummed by this current restriction
practically, the measure level would sound best I guess? the tatum level though could really open up some interesting possibilities. Im interested in remixing with chord symbols as the sequencing input.
I suggest looking up references on chord identification from chromagrams or pitch-class profiles (what you get form the pitch vector in segments). It's not solved completely, and you might get better results than a generic solution yourself if you can constrain the system through context.
