Are you still supporting MusicBrainz IDs? New Reply

I remember I used to be able to call http://developer.echonest.com/api/get_audio/?api_key=MY_API_key&mbid=A_MUSIC_BRAINZ_ID but this doesn't seem to work anymore, or it works, but tells me "No artist exists with the MusicBrainz ID" when I am certain it does. example mbid is for ratatat.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Should I be using the new identifier format? How can I construct and identifier from a mbid? Thanks.

That call should work, but it is not, perhaps due to some recent database upgrades. We'll take a look. As a work around, you can query by the artist name instead of the MBID. That appears to still be working.

Thanks Paul, for the time being I've switched to your artists data feed. But if you could try get the mbid back in the mix that would be cool. It feels alot more accurate.
