I've seen references here and on Paul Lamere's blog about a possible Java API for EchoNest. I was curious if this is in the works, and if so, what the status may be before I go off and do my own thing.

Hey ChrisH: There is a Java API in development. Currently the API supports Artist level methods. Track level methods should be coming soon. It is still in alpha so interfaces are subject to change. You can get the API from
