Problem identifying songs New Reply

I'm playing with a program to consolidate and organize my collection. To test the API, I'm using Toto's Africa, which I figured should be common enough to be sure to exist in the db, but it's not working and I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm missing:

curl -X POST -H "Content-Type:application/octet-stream" "http://developer.echonest.com/api/v4/song/identify?api_key=MYKEY" --data-binary "@test.json"

test.json contains:

{"metadata":{"version":3.16},"code":"eJyVm2mu7aqyZrs0wZTNoex_E94YrH...NzS_wAs8fAT"}

code is from codegen's output, and in fact, I tried again with:

codegen mp3-sample/Africa.mp3 > africa.json
curl -X POST -H "Content-Type:application/octet-stream" "http://developer.echonest.com/api/v4/song/identify?api_key=MYKEY" --data-binary "@africa.json"

The response I get in both cases is:

{"response": {"status": {"version": "4.2", "code": 0, "message": "Success"}, "songs": []}}

Africa does indeed exist in the db:

curl "http://developer.echonest.com/api/v4/song/search?api_key=MYKEY&format=json&results=1&artist=toto&title=africa"
{"response": {"status": {"version": "4.2", "code": 0, "message": "Success"}, "songs": [{"artist_id": "ARSEULV1187B9B4D7C", "id": "SOGHRHM1311AFE8319", "artist_name": "Toto", "title": "Africa"}]}}

This codegen output (sans most of the code...):

[ {"metadata":{"artist":"Toto", "release":"IV", "title":"Africa", "genre":"Other", "bitrate":128,"sample_rate":44100, "duration":298, "filename":"mp3-sample/Africa.mp3", "samples_decoded":6571584, "given_duration":0, "start_offset":0, "version":3.16, "codegen_time":4.902254, "decode_time":2.488470}, "code_count":1163, "code":"eJyVm2mu7aqy... qNzS_wAs8fAT", "tag":0}
