Support for PCM... New Reply

Hi I have tested the "upload" API successfully but I wonder if its possible to upload PCM encoded files instead of just MP3 or if you are planning to support other formats like AAC, etc...

We already support a number of audio formats including mp3, aac, aiff, au, wav. In general, we can analyze any self describing audio format that ffmpeg supports.

Thanks for the fast response, I am glad to know that :), is there any place where I can check for license to use echo nest API on a commercial application?
